Sam helped with a landscaping project around an ADU we built in our side yard. His execution was excellent and he was very thoughtful with his plant selection to accommodate our desire for a low maintenance outdoor space. His pricing is transparent and he was quick to point out where he could tweak the project to reduce the total cost. He sourced a particular tree we wanted, and he even did some research on “chicken resistant” plants to ensure our hens didn’t destroy all his hard work. Lastly, he was willing to take out a dead limb on an oak tree for less than the tree guys quoted. I highly recommend Sam’s services.

I hired Sam and his team to put a stone border around a large raised bed and to build a stepping stone walk along the side of my house. I could not have been more pleased as their work far exceeded my expectations. I called 3 different landscapers to finish a paver patio in our backyard, which we had started but were finding would take too long to do ourselves. Sam contacted me back quickly and was able to come over in the next few days to understand the issues we were having and what it would take to finish the project. He has fair prices and finishes the project on time. He even did a few extras, cleaned up the area each day, and his crew was a pleasure to deal with. We were impressed with the outcome and loved that he made sure we got the results we wanted before he did each step. You are in good hands with Sam and his crew!

Sam and the team removed a tree, laid down new sod, installed a brick mulch bed border, planted bushes, and installed new mulch and gravel. They did a great job and our yard now looks exactly how we had imagined it. Their pricing was very fair and they even provided some extra sod at no additional cost!

Sam is a true expert in green scape plus stone mason and flexible to help pull out a boxwood bush today while helping our next door neighbor redo her entire backyard. Can do and helpful attitude was MUCH appreciated, plus the 30 minute add on to their schedule today for our neighbor’s work load. We were so secptical to hire someone to do landscape work at our house, because we do all our own work. We were so impressed with Grand Design!! Sam was prompt friendly and a great communicator. Showed up on time. Respectful of our property and did a beautiful job. Carlos was meticulous, paid alot of attention to details and also a hard worker. Overall I would give them 10 stars. Sam and his team did a great job on our project. It was great to have one group we could hire to both do a landscaping refresh and install a paved patio. They take pride in their work and make sure it’s done right, all at a fair price.

Sam and his team did such a beautiful job with our patio extension in our backyard that we asked him to come back and add edging to our front yard. Sam and Grand Design did a great job repairing my stone patio. The patio was sinking due to poor workmanship with the original installation. I know it can be a real pain to correct someone else’s mess, but Sam did it and for a reasonable price. In addition to the patio repair, Sam created a design for our fence row, purchased the mix of shrubs and grasses, and did all of the planting. This is the second time we have used Grand Design and we will definitely be using them again.

Sam and his team were by far the kindest and most responsive landscape group we have had the privilege to work with. He actually came by our previous home and gave us not just a quote, but suggestions, feedback and budgeting pointers. He did the same with our current home. He was accommodating to some changes without hassling us over price. He was fair and willing to help with things beyond the agreed scope of work. He completed his work as promised and is willing to come back to help me with other projects. As a “mentor”. I would recommend Sam 10 outta 10. Pictures to follow on the work he has done. Right now it’s a bunch of straw down but hoping for beautiful grass later in the fall.
